The CSR Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized an impactful celebration of World Health Day on April 7th, 2025, at FIMS Square. The event featured a variety of health-centric activities, including dumbbell challenges, arm wrestling, and the ‘Imaginary Chair’ contest, all designed to promote physical wellness and encourage fitness among students. The participants showed great enthusiasm, and the winners were rewarded with exciting prizes, creating an energetic and positive atmosphere.

As part of the broader campaign themed “Mind Matters”, students from FIMS also took to Calicut Beach prior to the event to engage with the public on an important topic—mental health. They interacted with individuals from various walks of life, sparking open conversations about emotional well-being and the significance of mental health in daily life. These valuable interactions were captured on video and compiled into a social awareness film, which was officially launched during the World Health Day program at 3:00 PM by Dr. Ahamed Riaz, Director of FIMS.

The program was a thoughtful combination of physical activity and mental health advocacy, reflecting FIMS’s holistic approach to health and education. By taking the conversation beyond campus and involving the community, the CSR Club successfully delivered a powerful message: health is not just about the body, but also the mind. The initiative highlighted the institute’s continued commitment to meaningful student engagement and social responsibility.
