FIMS CSR CLUB AND ACTIVITIES

The CSR Club at FIMS is dedicated to fostering social responsibility and ethical leadership among students. From environmental conservation drives to social welfare activities, the club empowers students to make a positive impact beyond the classroom. Organizational Study on Social Enterprise in NEST NIARC

The CSR Club of FIMS, in collaboration with NEST NIARC, conducted an Organizational Study on Social Enterprise in NEST NIARC on July 3, 2024. This initiative provided students with a unique opportunity to explore the functioning of social enterprises, understand their impact, and gain practical insights into sustainable business models.

"Building a Healthier You"

To World No-Tobacco Day.

The CSR Club organized a colloquy on “Building a Healthier You” to mark World No-Tobacco Day. Led by Mr. Rangeesh Kadavath (Kerala Police) on 31st May 2024, the session highlighted the dangers of tobacco use and encouraged healthier lifestyle choices for overall well-being. As part of the event, a Reel making competition was conducted for students.

EcoBiz 24

EcoBiz 24 – Business in Harmony with Nature

The FIMS CSR Club organized a talk series EcoBiz 24 – Business in Harmony with Nature on November 6, 2024. Mr. Jabir Karat, Co-Founder & CEO of Greenworms, shared insights on “From Waste to Worth”, highlighting sustainable waste management and social entrepreneurship. The session inspired students to explore eco-friendly business solutions for a greener future

A workshop by FIMS 2005-07 Batch alumnus

The CSR Club organized a workshop on “Unleashing the Potential of Social Enterprises” led by Muhammed Yunus TK, Founder of NIARC Foundation and FIMS 2005-07 Batch alumnus. The session offered valuable insights into social entrepreneurship, emphasizing innovative business models that balance financial sustainability and social impact.

The CSR Club initiated a fundraising drive and successfully collected Rs. 50,000, which was provided as support for house construction.
